BareTooth Cupboards
Carbon County Community Bank
Founded in 1980, BareTooth Cupboards has served Red Lodge and the surrounding communities of Carbon County, Montana, for 45 years.
Our mission at BareTooth Cupboards is to reduce hunger in Carbon County by providing food to those in need and engaging in outreach efforts while treating our customers with dignity and respect.
Approximately 1 in 10 Montanans struggle with hunger, and nearly 35,500 children live in food-insecure homes. In 2020, visits to Montana food pantries increased by 36% compared to 2019. And, in each month of 2020, an average of 38,000 households received food through partners of the Montana Food Bank Network

Every dollar counts towards helping our hungry neighbors, especially during these unprecedented times. Your financial support is needed now more than ever.
Food Donations
Hunger is a serious issue in Carbon County. We stock certain items that allow our customers to maintain a healthy balanced diet. During Summer, fresh produce from local hobby gardeners and the Red Lodge Farmer’s Market is an extra special treat.
Donate on behalf of someone else

It’s always possible to recognize someone by donating to the food bank in their name. For instance, for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, or to mark any special occasion.
Please provide us the name and contact details of the person in whose name you are donating, and we will then send them a card telling them about your thoughtful gift on their behalf.
Volunteer at BareTooth Cupboards

BareTooth Cupboards is always looking for dedicated volunteers to work in the food bank, along with multiple other volunteer opportunities. If you are interested in volunteering your time to this vital community resource, our volunteer coordinator can discuss current opportunities with you. Email us at baretooth@gmail.com or click below.
Direct Financial Support

BareTooth Cupboards is supported entirely by generous contributions from our many donors.
Would you consider adding BareTooth Cupboards to your annual donations? Donations can be made by check, cash, or online via our charitable PayPal account. All donations are tax-deductible, and because of the work of our volunteers and community partners, over 90% of all funds go directly to purchasing items to stock our shelves.

Volunteer Testimonial
“One day while working a shift at the food bank, a single mom with a young son called in needing help. She had just moved to Red Lodge and desperately needed food for herself and her son. When she learned that she could get food that same day with no complicated paperwork or qualifications, she was incredibly grateful. Her young son seemed even more pleased and said, “That’s a good thing because we only have $4 left.”
